Quern - Undying Thoughts is a first-person puzzle adventure game, inviting you on a journey to explore it and solve its challenges. Notes are left everywhere around the island, some lend way to the story, some hand out clues to the puzzles ahead. Your only escape is through what feels like countless locked doors and puzzles. Even the aesthetics have the feel of those all-time classics. This game made me feel like I was playing Myst or Riven. You hear the portal closing behind you as you take a step forward. You try to clear your vision and get on your feet after your arrival.
